This ageing tool was kindly donated to the History in a Box Project by an avid follower. The hammer has a Jarrah “feather” together with Mother of Pearl inlay; which suggests to us that hammers can do more than just strike something! It is mounted on the lid of an oxidised kerosene tin which in turn sits upon oxidised sheet metal.
