This model boat used to live in a large glass case with timber surrounds, however the owner didn’t like the boat so much but she did like the display case. The plan was to assemble a collection of items belonging to the family inside the case. It’s still a work in progress, the SS Orphir has sailed to other destinations! She was originally commissioned in 1891 and scrapped in 1922. The ship sailed between London and Australia.
